Research Interests
Collin is a graduate student of mechanical engineering. During undergrad, he researched STEM education extensively, helping lead a large team to produce engaging classroom activities for learners of all ages and abilities, and routine collaboration with the Minnesota Children’s Museum. Collin also applied mechatronics design in research, building computer-embedded costumes for circus performers and microgravity experiments for flight on Blue Origin’s New Shepard launch vehicle. Before starting college, Collin was an apprentice blacksmith at Black Oak Forge. His research interests include mechanical design, clean energy and global development.
